When it is necessary to accept a larger axial force in one direction and one row of bearings cannot be satisfied, a series combination is required. The combination of DBD and DFD is a three-row combined bearing, so that the combined bearing can accept radial and axial loads in both directions, but the preload distribution of the bearing is uneven, and the internal load of the single-row end bearing is twice that of the double-row end.

DBB and DFF are four-row combined bearings, which can accept radial load and axial load in two directions. In the case of the same internal clearance, its preload and rigidity are about twice the combination of DB or DF, and the ability to accept the ultimate axial load is relatively large.
